What is synchro skating?

A team of 8-20 skaters performing a competitive skating routine.
The routine carries a theme that the skaters portray for the judges.  Skaters perform mandatory elements during their routine.  Elements include:
  • Circle
  • Line
  • Intersection
  • Block
  • Wheel
  • Creative Element
  • Combined Element
  • Moves Element
  • Step Sequences
Levels of Synchronized Skating
Length and difficulty of the program depends on the team level.  Competitive levels include:
  • Beginner 1 and 2
  • Elementary
  • Juvenile
  • Pre-Juvenile
  • Pre-Novice
  • Novice
  • Intermediate
  • Open
  • Junior
  • Senior
  • Adult 1,2, and 3
