2026/2027 Tryout Information:
As we continue to grow and strengthen Ice Fyre as a competitive club, we are also aiming to field a new Gold (Intermediate) level team this coming season. Gold level teams have the opportunity to qualify for the Skate Canada Cup (National Championships), which is an exciting step forward for our program.
While the posted tryouts provide a strong indication of expected teams, final team structures depend on who attends tryouts and the overall profile of skaters (ages and skill levels). Our priority is to create teams that are developmentally appropriate, safe, and sustainable.
To ensure consistency, professionalism, and ease of evaluation, all skaters are asked to wear all black, fitted skating attire with hair secured in a neat bun. Proper attire allows coaches to accurately assess skating posture, extension, alignment, and overall
presentation.
Skaters attending tryouts are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance. Parent information will be available during tryouts.
