Ice Fyre is looking to expand their coaching staff for the 2023-2024 season.
The Whitby Synchronized Skating Teams have proudly represented Whitby and the Durham region for over 40 years. Our club has a rich history of producing world class athletes and have won numerous National and World titles. 

Whitby Synchronized Skating Teams is currently seeking a synchronized skating coach for the 2023-2024 skating season.  A successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for the sport of synchro, be highly motivated and have a strong sense of camaraderie. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Coaches who are able to foster a positive training environment through their dedication to their team and the overall Club.

Qualifications include:

•  Skate Canada Provincial Level Coaching or higher
•  Must be in Good Standing with Skate Canada
•  At least 2 year experience coaching Synchronized Skating at various levels. 

•  Able to communicate and interact well with skaters, coaches, parents, club volunteers and board members.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Offer on-ice coaching to team(s) ranging from 1-3 nights per week
• Offer off-ice training to team(s) at least once a week
• Collaborate with other club coaches and board members to execute club initiatives
• Day to Day operations of team(s)
• Work within board approved team budgets
